G1-EVS-LO-6 : ಅಡುಗೆಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ – ಇಂಧನ, ತರಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಮಸಾಲೆಗಳು, ಎಣ್ಣೆ, ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ.

Activity 1 – lets play kitchen kitchen

ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ 1 – ಬನ್ನಿ ಅಡುಗೆ ಅಡುಗೆ ಆಟ ಆಡೋಣ.

ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅಡಿಗೆ ಆಟಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಬಹುದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಆಟದ ಅಡಿಗೆ ಸೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡುಗೆಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಅಥವಾ ಕಾಲ್ಪನಿಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಿಚನ್ ಸೆಟ್‌ನಂತೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ವಸ್ತು/ಆಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಬಳಸಬಹುದು ಅಥವಾ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ತರಬಹುದು. ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಅಡುಗೆ ಏಕೆ ಮಹತ್ವಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿದೆ? ಅಡುಗೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಯಾವ ಯಾವ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇದೆ? ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರ್ಥೈಸುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಬಹುದು.

4 ರಿಂದ 5 ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬಹುದು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ವೃತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅದನ್ನು ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಬಹುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಏನು ಬೇಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೇಗೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Children can play kitchen games where they will take all things required for cooking in a play kitchen set or imaginary things as kitchen set .They can also use material/toys available in school or bring from home.During the activity teacher can reinforce why cooking is important and what all material is required for cooking .

Activity can be done in a group of 4 to 5 children.Once all children are done with the activity teacher can summarise it by making them sit in a circle and ask everyone what all they cooked and how.

Activity- 2 : Name and use of different kitchen tools/utensils.

ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಪೋಸ್ಟರ್‌ನ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಅಡುಗೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ. ತಮ್ಮ ಅಡುಗೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು /ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು/ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿ.

With the help of a given poster,discuss different tools and utensils used in the kitchen. Give opportunities to children to talk about the things/tools/utensils used in their kitchen.
