Prajayatna is a development initiative (a registered non-profit) working to improve the quality of education in public schools. From a systems perspective, this initiative attempts to address quality in education through facilitating capabilities based learning paradigm in Government schools with the active involvement of the local communities, teachers, local elected representatives Panchayati Raj structures and the education bureaucracy ensuring better management of the schools and better delivery of quality education from these schools.

Yes – all donations to Prajayatna are 50% exempt from tax under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. However, tax exemption is valid only in India.

How will I get a tax exemption certificate for my donation?

We will send across your donation receipt via email. This receipt is eligible for tax exemption and can be shared with the Income Tax Authorities.

What is the advantage of becoming a monthly donor?

Donating on a monthly basis helps us to implememnt our projects on the ground in a more sustainable and effcient way and also helps us increase our reach and impact.

As a monthly Prajayatna donor, you will get the following:

  • Impact report on how the funds donated by you has been utilised
  • An annual tax receipt
  • The option to change or cancel donation anytime
